Start with the material you actually need.
Comparing research peptide suppliers is easier when you compare the evidence behind the exact material, rather than a collection of headline claims. Set up a review for each product and option you are considering. A useful record contains the product details, the applicable documents, the questions you asked, and the answers you received.
This checklist is a way to organize that review. It does not give a supplier a score or certify a product. Your laboratory’s requirements determine which information is necessary for its work.
1. Record the product and the supplier.
Save the product’s name, listed amount or variant, catalog reference, supplier name, and page URL. Note the date you reviewed the listing. This makes it possible to distinguish a change in the listing from a difference between two materials.
Check that you can identify who answers questions and where to find the current ordering, shipping, and return information. A working support route is especially useful when you need a document explained or a lot number confirmed.
2. Request documents that match the review.
Find the complete COA and the applicable SDS. For the COA, compare product, sample, and lot identifiers. If the report uses a laboratory sample code, ask how that code connects to the material being offered. Record the explanation with the report.
Check the report issuer and number. If the issuer provides an original-report link or verification service, use that reference. Read the full report, including qualifications and attachments. 3. Turn broad claims into specific questions.
Write down what a claim means in the context of the available evidence. The table below provides questions you can use without assuming that any particular test or program is included.

For the distinction between a percentage, a quantity, and an identity assessment, read purity, content, and identity. Keep a missing test or an unclear field on your question list until you have an answer.
4. Keep the review usable after delivery.
Save the full documents with the order record and the correspondence that explains them. When the material arrives, compare the delivered product and lot identifiers with your saved records. If they differ, ask which documentation applies to the received material.
A compact review note can contain these six items:
- The product and option reviewed.
- The supplier and product-page reference.
- The COA issuer, report number, and sample or lot.
- The SDS issuer and revision.
- The questions answered and any remaining gaps.
- The delivered label identifiers and date checked.
